Beta Unit's arpeggiator sweater in black and gray is a loose-knit, over-sized sweater made of an alpaca, wool and acrylic blend. The bold horizontal stripes blend into one-another giving it a very textured appearance. The crew neckline is finished with 1-inch knit ribbing and the sleeves and waistband boast 2-inch rib finishing.
With a focus on unconventional functionality, finishes, engineering, fit and wearability, Beta Unit is an independent clothing label based out of Encinitas, California. As a small group of designers who grew up in the 80's and 90's, inspiration is drawn from the unintentional art caused by imperfections and limitations within technology as seen in primitive computer graphics, ancient photography, broken fax machines and malfunctioning code. |
