Smelling Sushi Imperiale is like the feeling you get after finishing a big meal, relaxing by the fire with a bottle of wine and a guest. The air is spirited, the mood is conversational, and overall there's a
sense of joy in the air. Full-bodied and nostalgic,
Sushi Imperiale reminds of potpourri used to decorate homes during Christmas time, embellished beautifully by the timeless note of Madagascan vanilla. Spices glaze citrus fruits while tonka bean, patchouli, vetiver, and sandalwood form a spectacular medley of warm
tones that heats the nose like sharing a blanket. Sushi Imperiale is the kind of scent we like to warm up to.
Fragrance notes: Tonka bean, patchouli, vetiver, sandalwood, cinnamon, star anise,
rose, jasmine, nutmeg, pepper, lemon, mandarin orange, bergamot,
Madagascan vanilla
Bois 1920 was founded, as the name implies, in 1920 by Guido Galardi. What's not implied in the title is the rich history behind the brand, which was actually shelved in 1925 due to Guido's son, Renato's, lack of interest in perfume. Fortunately for fragrance fanatics around the world, Guido's grandson, Enzo, rediscovered the world of scent in 1985 and began playing with his first formulations educated by the trail left by Guido. 20 years later, from Enzo's passion emerged Bois 1920. BOIS, which is actually an acronym rather than the French word "bois" for wood, stands for Bottega Italiana dello Spigo, or Italian Lavender Workshop.
