Voleur de Roses translates to "rose thief," a fitting title for this unusual rosey fragrance. Masculine florals that do their job well are few and far between in the world of perfume, but the notes of Voleur, including a prominent rose alongside patchouli, plum, and a touch of bergamot accomplish the task quite well. It almost smells dirty, as in similar to the scent of damp soil. Thanks to that effect provided by the pungency of patchouli dancing with plum, this perfume is an excellent choice for both men and women looking to leave their comfort zones for something out of the ordinary. It holds its strength well, never bores, and is winning our hearts here in the Apothecary with each new whiff. Surprisingly excellent. An ode to a rose garden in a thunder storm.
