The Levi's Vintage Collection (a.k.a. LVC) is a compilation of select, original Levi's jeans and clothing items, replicated to fit, feel, and showcase Levi's heritage and evolution.
Each pair of jeans in the LVC collection marks the specific year when a significant change came to the 501 jean. It may have been a design improvement or a government regulation but never-the-less it was time to change. This is your chance to have all the original details, tickets, tags, and quality.
These special jeans are an exact replica of one of the most famous pairs of jeans in the extensive Levi's archive. Discovered in a barn in an old Nevada mining town, the original pair pre-dates the first 501 by almost 10 years. Limited collector's edition.
WAISTBAND: Selvedge, coin pocket rivets, rusted sew through suspender buttons
BACK POCKETS: Single, wide and short back pocket with two tone stitching, extra rear side pocket on left hip
ARCUATE: Slight stitch fade, exaggerated curve
RIVETS: LS&CO trademark stamped, rusted, exposed
LABEL: Authentic leather patch, back of waistband, before XX character label
FRONT POCKETS: Waistband riveted coin pocket, left pocket abrasions, heavy indigo faded whiskering
CROTCH: Signature rivet, rusted button fly
DENIM: Amoskeag Manufacturing Co. New Hampshire, double finish, patched and repaired, heavily worn, dark smokey coal color with thin selvedge line
STITCHING: Dusty yellow hand stitching and numerous leg repairs.
FIT: High rise, rounded hips, relaxed leg, fitted waist.
SHRINK: This garment is pre-shrunk. You may experience additional shrink depending on how you launder the garment. Of course results will vary.
RECOMMENDATION: This garment is made to be distressed and has many elements that are fragile. If you need to launder it, we recommend that you simply hand wash it in the sink or send it to a quality dry cleaner. |
