This bag features a organic cotton and nylon Cordura blend shell, a large top opening with a snapping, adjustable strap closure, two fixed length carrying handles, two adjustable padded shoulder straps with blackened hardware for backpack function, two side cinching straps with blackened hardware, two lower pockets with gusseted expansion panels and a snapping fold over flap closure with Velcro reinforcement, one side seam metal zipper for easy access to main compartment and a circular padded bottom panel. The inside of the bag is unlined with simple and tastefully placed front and back laptop sized pockets with Velcro closures.

Porter's "Smoky" series uses a unique Cordura Duck fabric, woven from a combination of organic cotton with Cordura nylon yarn. The result is an incredibly strong fabric which is resistant to abrasions and intended to age beautifully.

Porter was launched in 1961 by Yoshida Kaban, a company that was crafting utilitarian bags by hand since the early 1930s, earning the respect of generation with their attitude "puts heart and soul into every stitch". This made-in-Japan-only collection of handsome, utilitarian shapes expertly mixes organic fabrics with, fine leather and high-performance materials. Porter bags boast features usually found in heavy work wear, military or extreme-sport gear.
