Made from a black 56% nylon 44% silk blend, these dropped crotch shorts are a tough but airy, smooth yet ridged textural experience. Featuring bellowing lung-shaped cargo pockets that begin as a standard slanted front pocket at the hip and taper down to a point that dangles as poised as a bat's wing just above the knee; deep Velcro-ing hanging pockets are contained within. Elastic waistband with Rick Owens' signature flat woven cotton drawstrings and an elongated four-button fly. Large square back pockets with buttoning flaps for additional storage.

Born and raised in Southern California, Rick Owens studied pattern making at Otis College of Art and Design before dropping out to work for local companies. In 1994, he established his own label selling exclusively to a Los Angeles boutique before expanding to well known department stores. In 2002 he won the CFDA's Perry Ellis Award for Emerging Talent. He draws inspiration from old black and white Hollywood movies and is known for his architectural jackets, asymmetrical dresses, long and clingy t-shirts and embellished outerwear. Owens works and lives in Paris.
