In August 1965, at the age of sixteen, Robin Lee Graham sets out from San Pedro, California to sail around the world in his 24- foot sloop Dove. In 1970, after almost five years, he sails back into his home port to successfully complete the youngest solo circumnavigation. Robin Lee Graham's solo global voyage provides the inspiration for the 08/65 Boating Moccasin.
