HISTORY: Perfumer Nicole Miller's first perfume (never intended for sale), relaunched in limited edition for the 15th anniversary of BLACKBIRD. This is an updated version of BLACKBIRD's original Hallow perfume launched in 2012. Modernized with brightnessand improved projection and longevity, this fragrance is slightly more complex with added notes of rose and mint but stays true to the original formula.
Just got my bottle of Hallow in the mail which was a quick (much faster than I expected) and painless process. I can't tell you how happy smelling this perfume makes me. I don't know that I've ever felt so much pleasure smelling a perfume...it's such a warm and sensuous scent .
I saw this perfume while on holiday in Mendocino at a tiny little shop and loved how it smelled...but I like to let fragrances sit for a bit and when we went back the next day the shop was closed. I was (almost) bereft - until I found this site. Can't wait until my order arrives!
I haven't tried this version yet. I just ordered it.
But the original? AMAZING and unique! This is THE perfume for women who don't fit the "girly-floral-fairy" type of scents out there. I don't like Chanel, Lady Stetson, etc. This scent was made for me.
I was so bummed when it was discontinued. I'm glad it's back.
This is an immaculate mixture of spice and floral. It’s not “warm” like many spicy scents are, this is very comforting and neutral. I feel regal wearing this. One of my favorites
